Tian’anmen Square locates in the centre of Beijing and is the largest city centre square at present in the world. The Square sits on 440 thousand square metres of the land. The large
meeting is held for 1 million here. Tian’anmen Grate Tower lies to the north of the square. The five-stated Red Flag waves highly over the square. The People’s Heroes Monument stands in the centre if the square.The People Great Wall, the Chinese Revolution Museum and the Chinese History Museum stand far part facing each other in the east and west of the square. The Chairman Mao Memorial Hall and Zheng Yang Men Grate Tower stand the south of the square. Now thousand of people visit and travel here every day. Tian’anmen Square is chosen as the first among the sixteen scene of New Beijing.
